Welcome to GRANT ENERGY MAINTENANCE
Based out of High Prairie, Alberta. Locally owned and operated, GEM has been serving the Oil and Gas Industry throughout the Northern Alberta Region since 1991 and prides itself on a proven track record of impeccable safety and quality workmanship. Over the past 20 years GEM has successfully completed countless Oil and Gas infrastructure projects ranging from small revisions and repairs to the construction of large scale infrastructure projects whose scope includes multiple well tie-ins with fluid & gas transmission, processing, compression, vapour recovery, shipping and injection facilities. GEM is fully equipped to handle ground up construction from prints to production.
Grant Energy Maintenance is Quality Certified by both CSA (Z662-07) and ABSA (B31.3) for all of ourprocedural requirements and maintains an extensive archive of project data. GEM has the capacity and experience to handle all types and sizes of product from traditional steel pipe with liner to the composites such as Flex Steel, Flex Pipe, Fibre Spar and HDP products. GEM owns and operates a fleet of over 60 pieces of current well maintained equipment and employs 80+ high season personnel. We generally install over 140,000 meters of underground line and directionally bore in excess of 15,000m annually.
In conjunction with Conventional Pipeline Installation methods, GEM has perfected an Alternative Pipeline Installation Procedure which allows us to complete the final reclamation and remediation of the right-of-way at time of construction. This alternative installation method has been Recognized and Approved by Alberta Environment as a preferred low impact construction method which eliminates the need to leave windrows of topsoil and trench spoil while you wait for ditch-line and bell holes to settle. This is proven to be extremely popular among Landowners, Governmental bodies and the Commercial Stake Holders.
GEM's Project Supervision and labour pool is experienced, competent and committed to providing quality workmanship in a safe working environment under the safety protocols of COR, IRP 16 and ISNet World programs while offering value and cost accountability to our Clients. GEM has conducted over one million safe man-hours on the job and driven over ten million kilometers safely and without incident. We attribute these successes to the unwavering commitment of our employee's and management to maintain focus on the highest levels of job safety. In 2006 GEM was the recipient of the Work Safe Alberta Award recognizing the efforts and commitment towards workplace safety and relationships & client satisfaction.
